No waves anywhere on the island, but this weekend will be good. See the Weekend Surf Forecast for more details. Jeremy and I took out the paddleboards in Dadonghai and headed east to the broken pier.

Jeremy goes under the pier

When we approached the bridge, we saw there would be annoyed with us for approaching and scaring away the fish (surfers and fishermen can often clash). Instead, they were excited to see people doing something they had never seen before, and were kind enough to help us up onto the pier.

Then we jumped off into the water

We though that would annoy the fishermen, but instead they just gave us some thumbs up and one said, in broken Engish, “very good”.

A tiny wave breaks on the reef while couples get wedding pictures taken on the rocks
