The surf has been fantastic for the past month or so. I've been well impressed with the consistency, and have had some great days.
I took a trip down to Shimei over the last few days with Greg, Allice, and David. We had a great session on Sunday afternoon?in the water while it grew dark, until visibility was nil. It was my first time surfing with Greg. He's quite a loud surfer as well, so we had a lot of hooting and hollering going on. Good fun.
It looks like we might have a lull in the surf for the next week or so. Nothing more than waist-high. I bought a used board last week, a 6'3 tiny swallow tail. I busted the tail on Friday though, when the leash was pulled through the middle of the swallows, tearing the fiberglass and destroying some of the foam. Nothing some suncure won't fix though. I've got three boards now. What constitutes a quiver?
