From watching the forecasts, it looks like The Philipines and Taiwan have had overhead surf for the past two weeks. Hainan, though, hasn't seen any real waves for about a month. That should change by the middle of next week. It looks like we should get at least head-high waves, possibly with a twelve second period. Keep those fingers crossed.
I am in the process of moving my stuff over to my room at the hostel, where I will make my base for the time being. A move down to Sanya is inevitable though, probably within a few months.
