(Monday, September 26, 2011): With less than a month to go before the SWATCH GIRLS PRO China hosted by Wanning, event organizers announced the award of a wildcard for Chinese surfer, Darci Liu.
Liu, a former professional dancer resides on Hainan Island and will be bringing all-important local knowledge to the South China Sea lineups, where she will represent the People’s Republic for the first time ever in top tier ASP International competition.
Event sponsors Swatch have also announced that Swatch ProTeam rider and 2008 ASP World Junior Champ Pauline Ado (FRA) willbe attending the groundbreaking event, as well as Anne-Flore Marxer, Swatch snowboard pro rider and reigning Freeride World Champion.
Both girls will be proudly attending in ambassadorial roles, offering loca lfans the chance to meet even more top class boardriding talent. As the second and final stop on the ASP Women’sLongboard tour, the 2011 SWATCH GIRLS PRO China will see the crowning of the2011 ASP Women’s Longboard WorldChampion.
This event marks the second partnership between the women's surfing and Swatch,which already sponsors SWATCH GIRLS PRO France, ASP 6-star women’s event.
